The spotlight this week is on Amy Hayes, our Account Manager servicing the Grand Rapids area. Amy joined the Parks Title team seven years ago, and she credits Pat Parks, (who she says “tag-teamed” her along with Julie McKee), for helping her rejoin the work force after spending a number of years at home with her kids. It was a wonderful opportunity she says she couldn’t resist.
Born and raised in Birmingham, Michigan, Amy is “almost” the youngest of five children. (She’s just three minutes older than her twin sister!) She’s been happily married for twenty-three years, and she and her husband have two “amazing, beautiful, and very athletic teenagers,” aged thirteen and sixteen. They now live in Rockford, Michigan, and spend as many weekends as they can enjoying their Stony Lake cottage.
One of Amy’s most extraordinary qualities, and what makes her such an integral part of this team, is her unfailing ability to relate to people, and her willingness to do whatever she can to help them. Amy says that nothing brings her more pleasure than bringing happiness to others. “I love to connect people together, which includes spending time with many different types of people. I think I was born to socialize.”
It’s a quality that is evident both inside and outside of Parks Title. Renee Smith, one of the newer members of our sales team, described her working relationship with Amy as absolutely amazing. “As I am new to the Parks Title family, Amy has helped me so much over the last few months, whether it be to answer a simple question or something much more involved. No matter what time of day or night, she is there with an answer. She is truly amazing, and I am so grateful to have the opportunity to know her and work with her!”
It’s a quality that makes her an incredible ambassador for Parks Title. As one client, Jeff Timmer, said it, “Amy’s friendly, can do, no, WILL DO attitude makes customer relationships even easier to retain. Her involvement and tireless work in charity and business organizations in West Michigan makes our community a better place. I’m proud to call her my friend and business partner.”
Thank you, Amy, for all that you do. Parks Title is proud to have you as part of our team!
